Anagram is a free daily word game. Unscramble two jumbled words a day with five tries each — everyone gets the same pair, so you can compare notes with whoever else played today.
Two jumbled words a day: a short one first, then a longer one. Everybody, everywhere, gets the same two.
Tap the letters to spell your answer, or just type it. Tap a letter you have placed to take it back, and hit Shuffle whenever the jumble stops helping — it is free, and as often as you like.
You get 5 tries per word. Guesses that do not use the letters in front of you, or ones you have already tried, are not held against you.
Stuck on the long one? After 3 wrong tries a hint turns up and gives you the first letter. One a day, and your shared result owns up to it.
Finished for the day and want another? Play another deals a practice pair from words the daily calendar never uses — as many as you like, none of them counting towards anything.
Solve either word and your streak goes up. Solve neither and it simply stays where it is. The only thing that breaks it is a day you do not play at all.
New words arrive at midnight New York time — the same moment for everyone, whatever your clock says. Your streak is kept on this device, so playing on your phone and your laptop means two separate streaks.
One solved word a day keeps a streak alive. Only a day you skip entirely will end it.
